- Title: Software Engineer Application Support
Qualifications/ Trainings: Degree (BS, BSc, BE, or Eq) in a subject relevant to IT (12+3 or equivalent) from a recognized institute.
Description: Application Support - The position is for a 24*7 (shift) support staff to be working from user location. The role will be a combination of activities involving: application support, system monitoring, incident management, customer support & vendor management.
Job Specification: The position is for a 24*7 support staff to be working from user location, network control centre or crew operations floor. The candidate has to be very good in communication and should have a broad understanding of applications support / development. The candidate should have broad understanding on databases and networking technologies. Experience on Incident management will be preferred. Customer facing experience also is preferred
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Investigate reported faults in operational production system, restore the services to normalcy. Also, communicate and coordinate with appropriate team for resolution including changes & fixes.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years experience in Application Support / Development.
KNOWLEDGE
Good understanding of Incident Management, client server technology, various operating systems, database, SQL, PL/SQL, middleware, web and/or N-Tier architecture. The candidate has to be very good in communication, analytical skills and should have a broad understanding of applications support / development.
