Farm Manager in Manypeaks, Australia

Key Responsibilities :

- Candidate will be responsible for preparing business plan and budget & its implementation at the Blue Gum Plantation in the hands on manner by supervising the contractors, taking care of machinery and property at plantation.

- He should have the competency to suggest and implement operational methods which will make the farm financially and operationally viable

- He should have the administrative ability handle administrative work and processes such as processing and disbursing invoices, preparing paper and forwarding the same to Accounts to enable tax filing, insurance etc.

- Ability and experience to comply with all the legal formalities in running a Plantation

- He will be responsible for upkeep, maintenance and usage of all assets such as machinery, homestead and vehicles

- Candidate will be responsible for ensuing security of property, safety of staffs and visitors in site.

- Candidate should have the knowledge of excel and word so that he can send MIS/ update to promoter / his representative on regular basis

Candidate Profile :

- Candidate should either be a Australian Citizen or should be a Australian resident or should have a work permit in Australia.

- Candidate should have 8-15 years of experience in running large timber farm preferably Blue Gum in Australia handling all activities ranking from managing day to day operation of the farm, supervision of contractors, compliance with law, handling commercial and sales activity, preparing and sending MIS / update in excel report.

- Candidate should be a team player and should have good interpersonal and commercial skill

- Candidate should have sound knowledge of the Blue gum plantation market and sound agriculture practices to grow and manage large plantation farms

- The candidate can join as a contractor also.

Education : Bachelors/ Master's degree in Agriculture
