Project Finance will be responsible for all the necessary activities for meeting the funding requirement for projects being undertaken by the Group, including projects already won as well as those under bidding/development.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, he will liaise with banks, financial institutions, PE funds, rating agencies and other stakeholders in the financial community to ensure timely availability of financing for projects at the most competitive terms.
Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive financial models for various projects to deliver cash flow forecast, scenario analysis, risk assessment and return analysis.
- Work closely with the project development team to identify, analyse and execute the most optimum financing solution for the Group projects (including debt and equity).
- Coordinate with bankers and arrange & structure bank facilities (long-term/ working capital) required for the existing or upcoming projects for the Group.
- Prepare business plans for private equity investments, and negotiate private equity deals with PE funds/ investment banks as required for Group projects.
- Coordinate with finance providers on due diligence, term sheet negotiations and documentation.
- Work with project teams to ensure timely compliance with all conditions precedent and other obligations.
- Coordinate the drawdown/repayment formalities for debt facilities and to monitor compliance with financing conditions and obligations.
- Support the Board of Directors on various financing related matters on an ongoing basis.
- Chartered Accountant / MBA with 8-12 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, private equity, initial public offerings
- Project finance experience in international markets
- Good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
