Lead Aircraft & Ramp Handling Operator for Saudi Arabia

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Responsibility of the Lead Aircraft and Ramp Handling Operator
    shall include, but not be limited to:

    1.Provide full ramp services for (COMPANY NAME) such as loading and unloading baggage and cargo shipments. He operates baggage tugs, conveyors, fork lifts, and other baggage and air freight handling equipment.

    2 Be knowledge of the general practices applied in the Ramp area and safe operation of all light to heavy and maintenance of equipment.

    3 Acts as a supervisor to other CONTRACTOR employees and trains co-workers in the operation of a wide range of operations in the ramp. Additionally provides input and supervision on performance reviews of lower level operators.

    PRINCIPAL TASKS:

    Supervise baggage / cargo handling. Assign duties and tasks to all CONTRACTOR Ramp Equipment Operator, Aircraft handling and service crew.
    Coordinate and communicate with traffic dispatcher,pilots and other responsible personnel.

    Ensure that aircraft cleaning is performed in accordance with the Aircraft Cleaning Procedures Manual. A copy shall be provided by Company
    Representative to CONTRACTOR upon execution of the Contract.

    Act as service man in charge and ensure that all Work required is completed by aircraft handling and service crew during their shift.

    Check and review aircraft cleanliness prior to pilot pre-flight inspection.

    Clean passenger seat backs and armrests, empty ashtrays and clean lavatory wash basin.

    Clean cockpit windshield and side windows,instrument faces, control and cockpit pedestal and side panels.

    Vacuum cabin interior and clean and wipe down aircraft body and engine nacelles (housing of engine).

    Polish critical aircraft metallic surfaces including wing and empennage leading edges, engine nacelles and aircraft flap, aileron elevator and
    rudder surfaces.

    Shampoo aircraft cabin carpet.

    Drain and clean aircraft sanitary tanks.

    Follow established procedures for fuel handling.

    Defuel and refuel helicopters and aircraft and assure correct fuel loads are on board.

    Monitor the fueling facilities, perform fuel sampling and monitor the fuel loading operation.

    Drain and refill aircraft sweet water tanks.

    Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo,(COMPANY NAME) and subcontractor supplies and equipment.

    Ensure that cargo is properly secured and documented within aircraft center of gravity limits.

    Complete refueling (or equivalent) fueling report each time an aircraft is fueled. Accurately make correct conversion of liter pounds and pounds U.S. gallons.

    Operate aircraft ground support equipment including passenger ramps, Hobart Aircraft Power Unit, baggage carrier trucks, air conditioning equipment,
    pallet loaders (FMC 15i), man lifts, ramps sweeping machine and engine start cart.

    Act as a signal man to direct piloted aircraft to assigned ramp location.

    Remove, install and inspect to ensure passenger seating units are properly installed. Configure combi B-737 and other aircraft.

    Insure aircraft washing of entire exterior using chemical compound is completed.

    Perform all duties in accordance with the Aircraft Cleaning Procedures manual.

    Perform other related functions as directed by Company Representative.

    Undertake training and perform as a Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) at the designation of (COMPANY NAME).
      QUALIFICATIONS:
      Shall have a minimum of two (2) years experience in an aircraft servicing and loading.

      Shall have documented proof of his qualifications on aircraft support equipment.

      Shall have at least minimum of high school Diploma.

      Shall have valid Saudi Driver License.
