Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management and Engagement, and Relationship Management, Implementation Management, Change Management, People Management, Communications - and the ability to utilise all into successful and sustainable outcomes.

Procurement Profile:

• Vendor Development - Local & International
• Sourcing & Ordering of Materials
• Commercial Negotiations – knowledge of contracts, bid evaluation, Currency fluctuations etc.
• Coordination with Technical, manufacturing in Standardization
• Planning, budgeting, cost reduction
• In depth knowledge of Imports, Import documentation, clearing, HS Code, Import Duty etc.
• Liaising with various legal bodies, authorities, ports, customs, NAFDAC, SON etc.
• Annual Budgets & General Administration

Logistics Profile:

• Material control, ordering, ROL, transfers, maintaining optimum level of inventory in coordination with manufacturing, finance and procurement.
• Material movements – Internal, Loading, unloading, transportations, including transport contracts
• Receiving, subject to QC checks.
• Storage and Store control, store environment, control of expiry dates, disposal of expired materials in coordination with Technical department.
• Store administration including store accounting
• Periodic inventory in coordination with finance, managing slow and non-moving items including disposals.
• Managing Vendors return of defectives. 

Desired Skills & Experience: 

• Graduate with Specialization in Procurement & Supply Chain Management / MBA
• Should be a commercial specialist with 10-12 years’ experience in a manufacturing organization. Preferably from MNC, Biscuit & Confectionery / FMCG
• Good Exposure to Local & International Markets.
• Strong technical knowledge for food materials and chemicals.
• Good knowledge of alternate material essentials for rate comparison, quality etc.
• Exposure on shipping, commercial supply contracts etc.
• High Negotiation Skills
• High level of Interpersonal and communication skills
