You should be able to plan, organize and control the production within your department (Emulsion, Enamel, Industrial, Powder, Resin, and Can) in National Paints to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, within budget, at the right quality and on time. Implement the NPFCL production standards and safety measures.
You should be able to perform the following:
• Responsible for the availability of resources like equipment and operator in coordination with Production Planning.
• Ensure Raw/Packing Material Requisition as part of the batch tickets are received at the raw materials store in tome for staging.
• Provide daily production report related to the department to Production Manager.
• Prepare monthly reports including production volumes, yield, maintenance, head count, total man-hours, illness and absence, etc.
• Monitor process work flow, personnel and resources, cost developments.
• Assist the Production Manager in the preparation of Production Budget
• Keep samples and maintain a record of each batch produced.
• Maintain a record of defective batches and obtain approval from Production Manager for recycle.
• Perform quality control of batches to ensure quality of batches as per standards.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Recommend site preparation and planning for installation of any production plant in NPFCL.
• Oversee the Preventive Maintenance Schedule for production plant and machineries. Coordinate with Maintenance Section for any preventive maintenance of the plant and machineries.
• Develop production system procedures in accordance with site management.
• Coordinate with Production Manager and Research Manager for smooth production and acknowledge QC testing within the department.
• Assist the Production Manager in the development and implementation of production strategies with utilization maximum resources but minimum cost.
• Provide information, compile, initiate, sort and analyse production performance records and data.
• Monitor and supervise the entire production section and coordinate with Machine Operator, filling packaging team and other subordinates regarding update of each batch production such as filling and packing.
• Assist in staff evaluation through performance appraisal and recommend training needs.
• Train and orient the production personnel on proper use of all plants, machines, equipment, and resources to maintain a safe and clean environment. Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform other task/project as assigned by Production Manager

• Similar experience in supervisory-related role in Chemical/Petrochemical Manufacturing
• Ability to work in a team
