Senior Sales Officer for Alkhorayef Commercial Company, Saudi Arabia



Any Arabic National, Any European National, Indian, Filipino

Purpose:

To identify and engage potential customers, as well as retain current customers through carrying out sales activities including technical product demonstrations in order to achieve the agreed sales targets and increase market share within SPC’s plans, policies and procedures.

Key Accountability:

Sales Operations :

• Identify new customers and retain current customers to increase SPC’s market share 

• Engage in sales activities including the presentation of SPC’s offerings and technical negotiations with customers to achieve sales targets and enhance market awareness

• Prepare, negotiate, price and deliver customer requested quotations to achieve budgeted sales targets

• Participate in building additional discount recommendations with the Branch Manager to retain and win customers based on customers’ forecasted volumes to increase sales and SPC’s market share

• Identify changes in market trends, and solicit competitor offerings and prices to enhance SPC’s competitiveness and market positioning

• Comply with all sales reporting procedures Ex.visit report, Weekly plan, Weekly report
Credit Account Management

• Prepare opening credit account requests, compile required supporting documents, and participate in preparing recommendations for Branch Manager’s review and validation

• Ensure customers’ credit sales are regularly settled and within credit limits to protect SPC’s financial interests

• Prepare and present over credit limit sales recommendations for the Branch Manager’s review in order to retain key customers and increase sales

Inventory Management:

• Ensure inventory stocks are available for issued quotations and request missing items to avoid lost sales

• Follow up with Stock Controller on requested parts delivery to ensure their availability for requesting customers 

• Participate in the identification and recommendation of required inventory forecasts with the Branch Manager to ensure effective stocks’ sourcing and delivery

• Keeping a record of lost sales

Customer Relationship Management:

• Ensure continuous communications with customers to identify and address their current and future needs 

• Identify opportunities and advise customers on the market’s offerings to increase customers’ loyalty to SPC 

• Identify and address disputes with customers to ensure customer retention and protect SPC’s market positioning

Policies, Processes and Procedures:

• Follow all relevant Sales’ policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement

• Promote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within SPC

Safety, Health and Environment:

• Comply with all relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

• Participate in incident and accident investigations as required inline with agreed safety, health and environment policies, procedures and controls

• Report on changes within Sales that impact relevant safety, health and environmental management policies, procedures and controls


QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:-

Knowledge and Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Generators industry within Saudi Arabia is preferred. ( 1 to 2 years )

• Previous sales experience is preferred

• Previous customer relationship management experience is preferred

• Good command of English language.

• Good computer skills.

• Ability to use electronic catalogues ( CAT SIS, Volvo, Komatsu, etc… ).

Education and Certifications 

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required

Generators sales experience is a Must
