EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
 B.Sc. or BE in Computers or Equivalent


Minimum Certification : 
1. MCTS: Application Development
2. MCTS: Configuration

Reports to : IT Operations Head

JOB SUMMARY:
Work independently or with SharePoint Partners to develop and deploy SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements. Use maximum features of SharePoint without code whenever possible. Maintain and Upgrade SharePoint Farm. SharePoint administration and performance tuning. Provide L3 and coordinate L4 Support requests. Provide training on SharePoint use and features to power users in order to enable them to create and maintain their department sites/pages. Performs other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 
1.Experience of working with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 / 2013 in an administrative or development role
2.Experience with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath, InfoPath Forms Services, Excel Services
3.Experience deploying custom developed or third-party solution packages
4.Experience in Web development (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript)
5.Experience in installing or upgrading SharePoint Farm
6.Experience in SharePoint Administration and Performance Tuning
7.Experience with Microsoft IIS, SQL Server
8.Experience with Disaster Recovery for SharePoint

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1.Assists Users with business requirements for the SharePoint and Office Systems
2.Automate paper based forms to SharePoint workflow forms
3.Deploy and Maintain Document Management System in SharePoint with Archiving configured as per IT Policies
4.Design Offline Solutions on InfoPath to work with other Microsoft Office Systems which can be deployed in remote sites with limited connectivity
5.Integrate SharePoint with SAP to provide data, information or reports to non-SAP Users
6.Train IT Helpdesk to resolve L1 tickets
7.Resolve L2, L3 tickets and coordinate with vendors for L4 tickets
8.SharePoint Administration including User maintenance, Roles and Authorization and performance tuning, health monitoring and resolution of alerts
9.Perform L1 and L2 Training to power users of departments to maintain their own sites and pages. Promote Content Management to be part of Power Users Roles
10.Monitor SharePoint Backups and perform integrity test on backups based on IT Policy
11.Perform Restore of Backup when required at document level, library level, Site Level or Farm Level
12.Upgrade to higher version of SharePoint; Apply Service Packs and Updates
13.Maintain or add new server to the SharePoint Farm
14.Adhere to ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management
15.Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures
