Data Analyst
1. Data mapping to FSLDM, Impact analysis for a suggested change or enhancement
2. Focal point for Product System Knowledge.
3. Act as interface between Technical team and the business user community
4. Responsible for analysis of existing informational sources
5. Assist in overseeing testing and implementation of the ETL applications
6. Responsible for developing source-to-target mapping and business rules (e.g. transformation logic) through the development of the logical data integration models needed to fulfill the data integration requirements
7. Responsible for defining criteria for data quality and integrity
8. Responsible for performing data profiling of existing applications
9. Support ETL Lead in Physical Design tasks
10. Experience / Skills required:
11. Teradata Data Analyst with DW/BI,
12. Banking Domain knowledge with 5 to 8 yrs of experience.
Data Modeler
8-10 years of experience in Data Warehousing.
5+ years of experience in Data Modeling.
3+ years of experience in ETL.
Perform hands on Data Analysis using tools like SQL, Brio and QMF.
Source data analysis and Business requirement analysis.
Understanding the business requirements and translating them into Logical Data Models.
Creating Physical Data Model using Dimensional Modeling techniques.
Working with the DBA in creating efficient table designs.
Create and Maintain Data Model documentation.
Reporting experience preferred.
Data Modeling concepts (Dimensional and Relational).
Data Modeling best practices and techniques.
Logical Data Modeling.
Physical Data Modeling.
Advanced SQL Skills.
Hands on Data analysis skills.
Understanding of Best practises in Data Management.
Experience in Manufacturing or Supply chain centric industries would be preferred.
Hands on experience in ETL using Data Stage would be preferred.
Hands on experience in Infosphere Data Architect would be preferred.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a global context.
Self-Starter.
