    Sr Purchase Officer

    Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Commerce

    Excellent IT Skill and experience in SAP inventory system

    Experience: Should have minimum 4 to 5 years experience in relevant field

    Job Responsibilities:
    Provides guidance and assistance to faculty and staff in all aspects of purchasing.
    Ensures that all purchasing is in compliance with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices and in accordance with the organization standard practices.
    Prepares technical specifications for request for proposals, including terms and conditions and evaluation criteria.
    Prepares and develops bid documents and supplier bid lists to obtain competitive quotations on commodities and services.
    Promotes the Purchasing section as an effective resource for addressing Supply Management issues.
    Keeps constantly apprised of economic / business situations as they affect purchasing policy; makes recommendations to adequately meet those changing conditions.
    Develops and updates department procedures and recommends changes to related company standard practices.

    Analyzes current procurement activities and recommends improvement through more efficient procurement methods, quantity discounts, standardization, value analysis and cooperative purchasing.
    Solicits information regarding a variety of commodities by telephone, facsimile, interview or written requests ensuring cost effectiveness commensurate with quality.
    Reviews tenders and purchase award documentation with respect to quality, suitability, delivery and pricing.
    Responsible for awarding a contract with consensus from the respective department.
    Responsible for the development and administration of the awarded contract.
    Prepares and maintains accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, contracts, correspondence and related follow up.
    Expedites outstanding purchase orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
    Interviews current suppliers to improve levels of service and new suppliers to develop and establish new sources of supply.

    Collects and reports statistics to measure commodity and/or supplier performance.
    Prepares reports to ensure compliance with related laws and regulations.
    Coordinates and resolves problems with end user departments and suppliers.
    Assist in resolving Accounts Payable invoice discrepancies and variances after Accounts Payable make initial inquiry.
    Assists Shipping and Receiving with shipment /transportation related discrepancies and variances.
    Performs other related duties such as special assignments and annual major objectives as required.

    Store Keeper

    Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Commerce & Basic IT skill.

    Experience: Should have minimum 2 to 3 years experience in the relevant field

    Job Responsibilities:
    Requisition, receive, stock and issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment utilizing a computer purchasing and inventory control system.
    Verify articles against purchase orders or packing lists and count and inspect materials for damage or defects.
    Review potential vendor information required to register as PCWA vendor.
    Inspect discrepancies in purchase orders and duplicate orders.

    Select proper storage areas and store articles in bins, racks, shelves, floor or yard areas.
    Issue materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment, obtaining proper records and requisitions.
    Enter and retrieve data from a computerized inventory control system.
    Track material usage and establish reorder points.
    Assist in reconciling work order quantities with inventory records.
    Perform weekly cycle counts, quarterly inventory, mid -year inventory, year-end inventory and physical inventory and prepare year-end inventory reports

    Load and unload articles, using a forklift, hand truck, and other materials handling equipment.
    Maintain storage areas, shelves, and outside yard in a clean and orderly condition.
    Store surplus materials and equipment prior to disposal. Assign part numbers to materials through the computer system and perform clerical duties related to the storekeeping functions.
    Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other agency employees and the public using principles of good customer service.
    Perform related duties as assigned.
