We have an Job opening for Planner (MECHANICAL/ INSTRUMENT& ELECTRICAL) for Qatar Location 

Experience: For Diploma minimum 10 Yrs

For Degree minimum 8 yrs 

Qualification - B.E., Diploma ( Electrical , Mechanical , Instrument) 

 Salary - Salary 9500 QR/MONTH

MPHC is majority owned by The Q-Chem facility is a world-class integrated petrochemical plant producing high-density and medium-density polyethylene (HDPE & MDPE), 1-hexene and other products, using state-of-the-art technology provided by Chevron Phillips Chemical, a major producer of chemicals and plastics.

Over US $1 billion was invested to engineer, construct and commission the Q-Chem facility, which began commercial operations in 2004.

Located in Mesaieed Industrial City, the complex has a designed production capacity of 453,000 metric tons per annum (MTA) of polyethylene and a 1-hexene unit with a designed production capacity 47,000 MTA. The complex also consists of sulfur recovery and solidification plant, a water treatment plant, seawater cooling system, dock facilities and administrative buildings.

Skill set required 

1. Minimum Qualifications 
B.Sc. Eng or equivalent Mechanical/ Instrument/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. 

Minimum 4 years Middle east/Gulf experience is mandatory. 
Proficiency in English Language (Speak, Read and Write) 
Able to write and express complex ideas, instructions and procedures. 
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP (PM/MM) is a must. 

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum 8-10 years (Min 10 Years for diploma candidate & Min 8 Years for graduate) work experience in refinery or petrochemical Oil and Gas plant in maintenance section out of which minimum 3 years in maintenance/shutdown planning. 

Good understanding on safety requirements, procedures and applying safe work practices. 
Should posses supervisory background and practical experience in the field of maintenance activities. 

Should have a thorough technical knowledge in respective disciplines 
Mechanical: Major type of Rotating equipments viz pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines etc..and static equipments viz pressure vessels, tanks. Columns, Trays, Furnaces, Exchangers etc.. 

I&E: Major type of actuated Valves, control valves, Analyzers, Transmitters, DCS/PLC, other instruments, Motors, switch gears, Transformers etc..) 

Be conversant with petrochemical plant safety standards and practices. Understanding of the hazards involved in the industry. 

Thorough hands on experience in SAP (PM/MM) and MS Office. 
Strong co-ordination & interpersonal skills. 

Job Requirements (but not limited to)

Planning and system support for Spare Parts Inventory Review activities. 

Able to assess, identify spare parts and other Material for equipment requirement. 

Ability to read complex Drawings and understand Specifications. 
Acquaintance with the materials and equipments in the oil and gas industry 
Experience in the warehouse functions like intending, standardizing, inventory control etc. 
Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment. 
Ability to lead planning technicians.
