Lead Technician
- Reports to Ops Team Leader
- Lead Technician may be the on site supervisor of an assigned team of technicians without being the actual people manager.
- Focus on design, commissioning and inspection and trouble shooting of highly complex systems within set time frame and according to defined process, service agreements and customer needs
- Primary on site customer contact for technical installation and/or service issues. May be considered the face of Johnson Controls at the customer site
- Resolves highly complex customer request / calls as dispatched
- Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customers equipment and systems status and of work completed
- May act as on site project leader and provides technical coaching to less experienced service team members and coordinates on site work activity for highly complex and multi person jobs. May include overlooking activities of subcontractors.
- Leads diagnosis and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as
- well as an understanding on time and material requirements. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Under general supervision, installs, starts up and commissions systems in line with defined regulations, standards and processes.
- Understands and analyzes relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
- For Technicians working on Controls Systems : Ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.
- Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Meets regularly with customer to become
- familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.

Refrigeration Technician

2- Completes planned site / customer visits and resolves customer request / calls as dispatched
3- Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customers equipment and systems status and of work completed

Main Responsibilities:
1- Maintains and repairs Industrial Refrigeration systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate such as :
1.1 Startup procedure , shutdown procedure and the function of each part built on refrigeration plants specially the compressor package
1.2 Able to Understands and analyzes All parameters shall monitor during operation and each parameter indication function
1.3 Charge oil for Compressor Package (procedure, types , quantity , purpose of lubrication and results & indication due to lack of lubrication)
1.4 Greases procedure for compressor motor bearing (procedure, types , quantity , purpose of lubrication and results & indication due to lack of lubrication
1.5 Ability understand and work with different HIM and Standalone Controllers and SCADA System
1.6 Skilled of servicing the compressor such as changing shaft seal, replace oil filter, replace suction strainer, Alignments...etc
1.7 Ability of Valve Service and repair with different brands Such as Danfoss ,Parcker ,AWP and Emerson
1.8 Ability of Refrigerant and water Pumps Service , identify the problem of operation and parts wears
1.9 Ability of execution Pump down , Vacuum and pressure test for refrigeration plants
2-Ensures compliance and full Knowledge and Understands for technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, Operation manuals such as
2.1 knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems (refrigeration cycles ) single and two stages Simple refrigeration cycle, Two stage Refrigeration plan with flash economizer tank, Two stage Refrigeration cycle with subcooler, Two stage Refrigeration cycle with intercooler, Refrigeration cycle with subcoolerincooler
2.2 Condensers, fans, drives and motors
2.3 Evaporators, fans, motors, and fins and drain lines + drain heater
2.4 Water treatment and water treatment systems
2.5 Defrost systems (hot gas systems, heater systems
2.6 Gas braze welding
2.7 Housekeeping, safety and other informational meetings, including related activities
2.8 Documents work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports

3.1 In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
3.2 Maintains and improves technical proficiency in Johnson Controls

- Requirements:
Education: 3 years Technical industrial Diploma after Secondary school / Upper intermediate Diploma two years after high School associated engineer specialized in HVAC&R
Job Experience: Minimum 5-7 Years in the industrial refrigeration plant such as ( ammonia )
Professional knowledge: in detail when specialist function
Maintain, troubleshoot, rebuild, replace, and modify related Industrial refrigeration plant and related equipment
Language skills: English & Arabic.
