IMRB IBU has leveraged its tobacco research expertise in providing research and consultancy for BAT companies around the world. In the last three few years, IBU has conducted research for BAT in all continents in over 60 countries across the world such as Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, South Africa, Nigeria, Turkey, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine. To service the BAT business, IBU has placed client servicing researchers from its India office in London, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Montreal. IBU's role in such projects is to develop the proposal, the research design and questionnaire, processing the data, conduct the analysis and work out the final presentation. Job Description
You will be responsible for achieving growth and managing business financials for your unit. Identifying new business initiatives and leveraging skills across units, building and nurturing strong client relationships and creating an environment that fosters new work / innovations are some of the main responsibilities of this role. You will be required to interact, make presentations to senior / top management of reputed companies, requiring you to be very high on self confidence & also have exposure to the same. Along with these, you will also be responsible for driving thought leadership in teams, developing research capability among team members and developing processes and process improvements for greater time and cost efficiencies. So being up to date with happenings in the industry is essential. To sum up, you have to play the role of a Trusted Advisor to the client and also manage a large team of researchers.
A sizeable part of your team would be based in India therefore, experience in operating with a team virtually across different time zone would be considered an added advantage.
