Telecom Technician and Telecom Supervisor for Qatar

Designation : Telecom Technician and Telecom Supervisor

Contract period: 4 yrs plus optional 1 yr

Location: Doha, Qatar


Education: 
• Completion of secondary education (12std) plus 2 years of full time training in the telecommunications / Electrical trade leading to possession of a recognized diploma / certificate.
  
Work Scope:
Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities for the telecom systems field equipment, namely PAGA, CCTV,
Flare Monitoring System, Meteorological Systems, and Security System components (such as Card Access Reader, Long Range Reader, Rising Arm Barriers, Pop-up Barriers, Full Height Turnstiles, Half Height Turnstiles and Crash Beam), Line of Sight (LOS) radio System, Marine VHF Radio, Aeronautical VHF radio, Fence Intrusion Detection 


Experience : 
• Has a working knowledge and maintenance experience (Minimum twelve 12std, 12y) in installation, maintenance and repair of various electronic equipments, electrical equipments and telecommunications (telephone system, radio network, microwave radio, fibre-optic etc.) 
• Minimum five years experience as a telecommunication supervisor.
  
Technical Skills: 
• Sound knowledge and experience are mandatory in the following: Electronic circuits, telephone system, electrical equipments,  public  Address  system,   radio  network, fibre-optic.
• Familiar with both Offshore and Onshore Telecommunications Systems.

• Speaks and writes fluent English
  
Work cycle:  5 Days a week, Morning 7.30 am to 4.30 pm (8 hours work + 1 hour for lunch)


Friday and Saturday will be holiday, Overtime may be possible if Employee works more that 48 Hours / week


Paid 30 calendar days annual leave yearly would be given
