Job Description:
1. Candidate should be employed in Logistics activities for exports of Marble or Granite in a Large Marble or Granite Company with responsibility for end-to-end logistics activities from Quarry to Factory and from Factory Warehouse to Port for Customer delivery. The job would involve coordination with External parties like Transporters, Shipping lines, Customs authorities, CFAs, Customers etc. and with Internal teams like Teams in Quarry, Production, Warehousing, Quality Control etc.
2. Candidate must have 10+ years of experience in Logistics field of which 5+ years should be in Marble or Granite industry and must have handled all activities including negotiation of rates with external parties, handling of the documentation process, handling accidents and ensuring shipments reach on time.
3. Candidate must be proactive, strong on communication and negotiation to solve problems and address issues arising in a day to day operations. Must be strong on documentation process to ensure correct documentation and completion of all paper works.
