Experience should be in the inspection of Fixed and Floating roof fabrication, erection and inspection is must.
Performing the material receiving Inspection and Reviewing the MTC against Code requirements. 
Having Knowledge and understanding in various welding techniques (SMAW, SAW, FCAW and GTAW) and welding materials.
Qualifying Welders / Welding operators according to the approved WPS.
Developing a PQR according to the requirements of project.
Should be able to identify welding defects and ensure that those defects are repaired as per approved procedure.
Monitor and report on fabrication and construction progress to the QA/QC Lead.
Witnessing all Tests (PT/MT/RT/ UT, Vacuume Box, pneumatic, and Hydro) and preparing a report.
Should make sure that all ITP activities are closed out prior to Final Hydrostatic test, acceptance criteria shall be as per Codes & Client Specification.
Should be familiar and be able to identify a Non conformance, and describe a clear and concise definition of the problem so that corrective action can be initiated and should analysis the root cause of the Non conformance to avoid recurrence.
Prepare a punch list and ensure all A & B type punches are closed before Testing and commissioning.
Ensure the project objectives are achieved in accordance with company requirements.
Shall have good reporting and communicating skills.
Should have a good rapport with client inspectors. 
Having Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 quality system requirements and implementation.

B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 12 years experience is required 
Technical Qualification: AWS / CSWIP certification, ASNT Level II in MT/PT/RT and UT
Practical involvement in TOFD Ultrasonic testing method is an added advantage.
Shall be familiar with Construction Codes such as ASME B31.3 / Section IX / API 650 and other related ASME / API Codes.
