Sales and Marketing Head for Zambia

Primary Accountabilities expected from job 

i. Solicit product and service orders for Company and to help secure contracts with respect to those assignments agreed upon with clients. Look for new contracts and maintain old contracts directly with clients. Finalize contracts that have been formally approved by organization and ensure that Companys general terms and conditions of trade, and payment terms are all met. Product and Services include, but are not limited to:
a. Castings,
b. Mill Balls,
c. Forged Balls,
d. Fabrication, 
e. Machining, 
f. Industrial Gases.

ii. Coordinate with Production (operations) team to prioritize work orders and projects to ensure orders are fulfilled on-time. Provide visibility of required delivery dates and demand but will not be responsible for day-to-day production. 

iii. Provide market trends, especially when new investment is required to meet market requirements.

iv. Offer technical advice to organization about the mining industry in regard to better planning and utilization of grinding media and castings.

v. Provide sales, marketing and public relations services to Organization with regard to maximizing its sales to the mining and related industries. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

i. Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Metallurgy, Chemical engineering or Mineral sciences.

ii. Valid membership with relevant engineering professional organizations such as EIZ/ERB.

iii. Minimum Ten (10) years experience in Mining or related industry.
