General Manager - Africa

You will be responsible for developing and managing sales, Operations, Financial, and Administration as per business plans.
• Build & drive shipping agency business for Bulk, Container, Tankers and RoRo carriers as per business plans.
• Identify new business and growth opportunities with principals as well customers so as to grow and expand company's business.
• Always safeguard interest of Principals so as to ensure exclusivity of relationship and promote his interest.
• Lead and guide team for healthy and continuous P R with all the Port Authorities and other regulatory authorities for smooth business operations.
• Strategic positioning of the Company to offer competitive shipping and freight management services and always maintain leadership position in the country.
• Provide effective and quality direction to Commercial, Operations and Logistics function so as to attain higher productivity and continuously improve revenue earning. 
• Coordinating with the Principals and also ensuring a continuous high level of service to customers

• Good base university degree with post graduate qualification in management.
• 12 -15 years Experience in handling liner business with around 5 years experience in Managerial capacity preferably with work experience in Africa

Finance Manager - Africa

You will be responsible to meet all statutory requirements on behalf of the Company, submission of Management Information reports in time, supervise accounting, and administrative functions of the company. 

* Preparation of monthly P & L and Quarterly Balance Sheet and Annual Budget for the Management. 
* Ensure accounts of the Shipping Principals are properly maintained and required reports are submitted in time to Principal. 
* Submit audited accounts to tax authorities and file various statutory returns relating to direct, indirect taxes and company law matter. 
* Dealing with the bank authorities and manage funds of the company in a secured way and maximizing returns on them. 
* Coordination with auditors
* To ensure books of accounts are maintained in orderly manner.
* Manage payroll and administrative functions of the company. 
* Preparation of financial reports for the management review

• Charted Accountant with 5-7 years experience in a similar role preferably within same industry or service industry.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong IT knowledge

Operations Manager - Africa

Main responsibilities will be to direct the Shipping Operations to ensure accurate and timely shipping processes of all orders with maximum efficiency. 
• Implement the processes in Operations relating to Ship schedules/Port handling/Documentation/ Husbandry.
• Planning and coordinating all operations activities in all aspects of shipping services for timely delivery to customer and other stake holders.
• Ensuring continuous review and improvements of operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance. Oversee daily monitoring efforts to ensure productivity objectives meet company/departmental standards.
• Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues

• At least 5-10 years experience in a shipping environment.
• Ideal candidate must be proficient with MS Office and operational systems/software 
• Be able to multi-task and perform excellent communication, supervisory and customer service skills. 
• A Shipping Operations Manager needs to be a good communicator who is capable of report writing in a clear and structured way. You must also have good negotiation skills

Hub Executive - UAE

• Should be capable of handling operations of all type of vessels (Bulk, break bulk, general cargo, container, tanker, RoRo) 
• Excellent Communication with Ship owners and charterers. 
• Preparation of PDA 
• Excellent communication with Master for pre arrival requirements, Vessel ETA and berthing prospects. 
• Close supervision of Vessel discharging / loading operations 
• Timely sending of daily discharge reports to Ship owners, Charters and Consignee 
• Meet Vessel turn-around time, targets and budgets 
• Liase and work closely with Port authorities, regional and global offices

• MBA in Shipping & Logistics and/or hold a recognized shipping qualification 
• At least 3 years experience in a shipping environment. 
• Should be capable of handling operations of all type of vessels (Bulk, break bulk, general cargo, container, tanker,RoRo) 
• Ideal candidate must be proficient with MS Office and operational systems/software 
• Be able to multi-task and perform excellent communication, supervisory and customer service skills

Accounts Executive - Africa

• Handle the shipping agency accounts independently, and vessel disbursements to principals
• Check disbursement invoices for respective vessels
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of information recorded in the system.
• Arrange cash to master and reimbursement of expense claims for seafarers
• Handle correspondence with ships/ agents for crew accounts matters
• Compiling accurate and timely reports to the assigned Principals in compliance with Principal's guidelines

• Commerce graduate with a minimum 5-10 years experience in shipping agency, forwarding, and logistics.
• Good verbal and written communication
• Ability to work well in a team, enthusiastic, positive and with a willingness to learn and develop
