Position Summary
This is a senior-level engineering position where the employee will be responsible for providing pre-sales, implementation and some post-sales duties. Pre-sales efforts may include bid responses, presentations, demonstrations or general conversations with customers. Post sales efforts may include the architecting and advanced configuration, operation and installation of data communications networks. This position will be focused on the network engineering security vertical. The individual will also be capable of supporting a second engineering vertical. Field work may include evenings and weekends at remote sites. 
Will be responsible to design and implement secure and manageable security infrastructures, providing senior level security engineering and operational support for security enforcement points and related LAN infrastructure across multiple brands while ensuring that a broad and deep exposure to security, network, and server security best practices is applied and utilized.

Responsibilities
Perform remote and on-site client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support the security infrastructure.
Will engineer and implement infrastructures for the following technologies and projects (Cisco, Palo Alto, Splunk, Fortinet, Sourcefire, Bluecoat)
Will staff augment clients ESS physical security systems with the network
Will assist Company in building a Managed Security Service Practice and Security Operation Center (SOC).
Will work with Company's clients as well as prospective clients to enhance their SOC offerings by designing all aspects of a modern SOC including workflows, tools, processes, and procedures.
Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network: analyze existing security and data networks and recommend solutions.
Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to complex hardware/software problems.
Assist Account Executives during the sales process by educating the customer about the proposed security infrastructure and new technologies.
Assist in the management of projects.
Will at times, act as the lead on implementation projects.
Perform other related duties as required.

Experience/Education/Skills Sets 
Bachelors Degree (4-year degree) required in (B Tech, Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering). Must have an Engineering or Information Technology degree to be considered.
CCIE certified (written AND lab) in Security. 
A minimum of 5-7 years of advanced hands-on experience
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and/or as a part of a team, follow directions and pay attention to detail
Physical Requirements
The employee will be required to sit for an extended period of time. In addition, the employee is required to stand, walk, climb ladders, carry equipment, bend, kneel, crawl, reach, push, and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
