IT Manager for Fiji Islands

Our client owns and operates a leading chain of supermarkets in Fiji, 
Our client is a private company registered in Fiji. One of the largest retail chain in Fiji. The primary activities of the company are retailing and wholesaling of groceries and general merchandise. The retail activities are carried out through in twenty eight stores. They are situated Fiji wide in the subsequent cities and towns

Job Description (Responsibility)

• Recommending and establishing appropriate IT systems and processes for the company and evaluating deployed technology to ensure compatibility and effectiveness
• Designing a cohesive and homogenous IT structure
• Administration, training and implementation of the various aspects of the companys ICT architecture
• Developing policies, procedures and SOPs, utilisation reviews, recommending appropriate alternative system options with predefined timelines.
• Ensuring low rate of ICT policy violations both internal and external
• IT strategy development, delivering systems and applications support in line with business goals and strategies
• Ensuring support of all IT systems is provided effectively on a seven day/twenty-four basis


Required Candidate profile
Desired Profile (Man Specifications)
• Hands-on experience in an enterprise IT environment, retail industry would be an advantage, dealing with systems distributed over multiple sites
• Possession of professional certifications, knowledge of ERP Microsoft Dynamics Navision/LS retail and Business Analysis
• Excellent communication skills

Education: BSC (IT), BCA or MCA preferred
