Senior Accountant for Qatar

We have an urgent opening with one of our clients for the position of Senior Accountant, the details of which are as mentioned below.

Position : Senior Accountant

Industry : Automobile Workshop

Location : Qatar

Experience : 3+ years

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Professional qualifications related to accounting will be a plus. 


Requirements :
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills


Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Document financial transactions by entering account information
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Analyze financial information and summarise financial status
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Communicate and follow up effectively with clients
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports required as required by the management.
• Handle all year end finalisations and reporting for submission to the board of members.
