(A) Strategic
Help in design and implementation of hospital's /nursing vision & philosophy.
Ensures and guides optimum utilization of physical facilities, qualitative and economic use of general / clinical supplies.
Infection control, awareness of patients rights & safety issues, relationship building.
Analysis and evaluation of staffing needs.
(B) Operational
Coordinate with all the departments for management of nursing care activities.
Oversee the scheduling of rosters for the nurses.
Conduct periodic staff reviews to assess effectiveness of the particular areas.
Will be required to counsel the staff in problem and provide guidance.
To take rounds of the areas in hospital & sort all related problems.
Nursing hostel administration.
Participate in meetings and conferences.
Organize workshops, certification programmes and Conferences.
Will make regular hospital rounds individually and with various hospital committees to ensure the quality of patient care services.
Will be responsible for making nursing audit and take necessary action accordingly.
Will formulate the standard protocol, enforce for implementation of the standard by encouraging the unit in charge to supervise the maintenance of developed standard, review the standard periodically for quality patient care and maintaining clean, orderly and safe environment.
Inventory management.
Participate in clinical committees meeting & to ensure all desired actions to be taken.
To ensure reporting of Deaths/ LAMA's or any other inevantuality & their follow ups.
To ensure all the Medico Legal cases are adequately handled.
To ensure all the patients of notifiable diseases are addressed to the competent authorities
Organize regular meetings with Nurse Managers and address the operational issues.

Required Candidate profile
Preferable: B.Sc. / M. Sc. Degree / MBA / Diploma in Hospital administration would be Preferred.
A Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Super/Multi Specialty hospital of which at least 10 years in Nursing Administration and training
Knowledge and Skills
Quick Thinking, Fast Moving, generalist and have wide spectrum of knowledge with leadership skills.
Effective communication skills.
Conceptual and Analytical skills.
Computer literacy and hands on PC is desirable.
(Female candidates preferred).
