Senior Java Developer

The Client Project requires a Senior Java Developer to participate in all aspects of the project including: design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance and implementation.

The Senior Java Developer brings senior level skills in:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in java-centric software development.
• Languages/Platforms/Frameworks: Java/JEE, JSF, MVC, Spring, JPA, Hibernate, JUnit, log4j.
• Cross-cutting standards: XML/XSL/XSD, X/HTML, web services (SOAP/WSDL).
• Middleware: Apache web server, Tomcat.
• Database solutions: Oracle, MySQL, SQL.
• IDEs and Development Tools: IntelliJ, Subversion, Ant, Maven, Jetty.
• Experienced with code versioning, branching and release methodologies.
• Understanding of secure design and coding practices.
• Motivated, energetic self-starter comfortable in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and firm commitment to quality and customer service.

The Senior Java Developer is proficient in web-based applications, databases, Web services, enterprise middleware and system interfaces across multiple computing platforms.

The Senior Java Developer is technically competent, has extensive knowledge and working experience in all aspects of application development, communicates effectively, and is able to work both independently and as part of a team collaborating on complex projects.

This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Senior Full-Stack .NET Developers

Preferred Education:

A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering related field.

Preferred Certifications:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Preferred skills, technologies and abilities:

Minimum of 10-15 years’ dedicated programming experience with at least 2-3 years performing in a Lead capacity with the following additional technologies and experiences:

• Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience building applications in C#.Net
• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience working with SQL Server all versions (2000 to current version 2017
• Minimum 4 years’ of service-oriented architecture and web security
• Minimum of 5 years’ preferred with MS Azure
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Object-relational mapping tools
• Must be skilled in object- oriented analysis and design, including an understanding of design patterns and architectural framework.
• Comfortable using SQL both directly to a database from a command-line but also from code (ideally using technologies such as ADO.NET or similar).
• Needs to be able to design and implement GUIs that are usable, robust and extensible.
• Experience in building systems from front to back, from a client UI through to a server(s) providing underlying business functionality.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ with ASP.Net and MVC framework
• Experience using Team Foundation Server
• Additional skills such as bootstrap, angular, javascript, HTML, XML, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS are highly desired
