Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Research and develop new technology
* Design and promote new components and sub processes for the electrical integration
* Perform electrical load analysis and initiate discussions with system partners
* Evaluate new products, processes, or systems
* Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units
* Perform product maintenance including but not limited to CPI/BIQ
* Perform APQP /BIQ /TFC requited activities during the design process
Top candidates would also have:
* Advanced degree in related Engineering discipline (preferably, Electrical Engineering)
* 3+ years’ experience designing harness/cables installation for Caterpillar (preferably mining/quarry equipment including but not limited to AT/OHT/LMT/LWL/Compactors/WTS/Underground vehicles)
* 2+ years’ experience in electrical schematic design (preferably Creo Schematic)
* Demonstrated success in previous liaison position ( leading a team of 5+ resources and delivered a medium to large size NPI/CPI project with challenging quality/cost/budget targets).
* Strong analytical skills
* Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
* Excellent communication
