MEP Team Leader for United Projects for Aviation Services, Kuwait

Its services cover project management and consultancy, real estate development as well as property and facilities management. MEP Team Leader shall:

  • Perform highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing issues.
  • Maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot the complete Air conditioning system.
  • Repair and troubleshoot chillers, primary, secondary, sand separator and condenser pumps, cooling towers, Expansion tanks, condition make up .pumps, chemical dosing, AHU, RHU and FCU
  • Install, fix and troubleshoot all ducting, VAV, DX units and mini-splits, Kitchen fresh air, and exhaust fans, extract fans, fresh air, and exhaust fans.
  • Handle all GRP tanks, brackish water tanks, Pre-filtration pumps, Booster pumps, backwash filters
  • Maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot the complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing works such as D.G. sets, ACN, all panels, chillers, Sump pumps, irrigation pumps, lifting pumps. etc
  • Maintain, install, and repair toilets system, Sewage, and storm.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of drain and water supply network, Main pumps, jockey pumps, fire hose reel cabinets, fire hydrants and sprinklers, Firefighting Deluge system
  • Responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of all kinds of mechanic projects.
  • Responsible for the management of the team, training, appraisal, and shifts distribution.
  • Maintain, install, repair automatic doors, air curtains, Denka lift etc.
  • Conduct daily inspections on all mechanical parts e.g. chiller pumps, freshwater pumps... etc.
  • Conduct periodic maintenance checks for all mechanical and electrical parts to ensure functionality.
  • Repair any dysfunctional units and Change spare parts as and when needed.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as and when needed.
  • Receive calls from the control room and/or the direct supervisor to conduct any needed repairs.
  • Follow all proper operational procedures and safety guidelines and notify the direct supervisor of emergency events.
  • Adhere to the Company's code of conduct, Health & Safety at Work.
  • Ensure application of health and safety policies in personal equipment, work environment, and with other staff members.
  • Cover the workload and any other related duties/projects assigned by the direct supervisor from time to time to meet the business exigencies.
  • To adhere to the company's policies and procedures and to be accountable for following and implementing the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental international standards (QHSE) which are related to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Shall be accountable for HSE activities related to his/her workplace.
  • Shall ensure to follow HSE-related legal compliance.


Desired Candidate Profile


MEP Team Leader Should have :

  • Diploma in Mechanical and/or Electrical studies or equivalent.
  • Between 4-6 years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to Maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot the complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing works such as D.G. sets, ATS and Electrical panels, Fire alarm system, firefighting system, Sump pumps, Irrigation pumps, Lifting pumps. Etc.
  • Knowledge in Maintenance, installation, and repair of all kinds of mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in Repairing and troubleshooting chillers, primary, secondary, sand separator and condenser pumps, cooling towers, expansion tanks, condenser makeup pumps, chemical dosing, AHU, RHU and FCU.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night and weekend shifts.
  • English speaker with the ability to follow ISO procedure and communicate in English
