Management and Coordination of the specified project installation of generators and related equipment to ensure that project work is done in accordance with design specifications
Co-ordinate the work of the generator installation team to ensure efficient service delivery against project plans and schedules
Exercise project management responsibilities to ensure technical delivery with regard to the installation, testing, commissioning and related tasks with particular reference to motor generator machinery and equipment
Demonstrate and provide technical expertise to the project team within the required field of expertise related to the position
Undertake skills development and skills transfer exercises to Plant Owner as specified
Ensure that all quality control tasks are diligently carried out and provide reports and statistics required for quality assurance purposes
Provide project management information to assist with program analysis and control
Ensure environmental compliance on issues that surround hydro power, in all task undertaken within your scope of supervision: direct reports, sub contractors and vendors
Demonstrate full commitment to Health and Safety programmes and to the principles of working safely as a top priority to ensure adherence to zero harm principles
Participate in Risk Management exercises, keep management informed on risk identification and assist in implementation of measures to mitigate risk
Provide management and leadership to staff and ensure sound Human Resources Management in line with HR directives and policies
Contacts with other staff & customers
Liaise with client Manage Client relations Manage contractor and vendor relationships
