A microfinance agency based in Europe with banks and institutions across
Asia, Africa & Central Asia is looking for a RISK MANAGER (Head of
the department) for it's microcredit company based in Kyrgyzstan.
Reporting to the CEO, the position is responsible for:
Identification, analyses and reporting of major risks for the company, including market, liquidity, credit, operational and other major risks
Preparing proposals and monitoring of risk limits including mitigation approaches
Address risk issues to respective departments and parties
Advice on strategies for risk management
Required Qualifications:
University degree (Masters or Bachelors) in banking, finance, business management or
mathematics and/or statistics with a business orientation
Knowledge of measuring and reporting different risk categories: market, liquidity, credit, operational and other risks
Minimum 5 years work experience in the financial sector or comparable industry
Superior analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details
Strong oral and written communication skills
Computer literate: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Internet
