Qualification Requirements
JD for Safety Officer / Safety Supervisor
• He should be graduate or Diploma in any discipline.
• Should have Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA Certificate will be considered as added qualification.
• Advantageous if he has exposure to OHSAS and Environmental Management systems.
• Should have min. 3 years of experience in safety. (Priority for experience in Gulf countries)
• Should be able to communicate in English.

• Ensure safe work environment at work place
• Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and get it rectified.
• Identify hazards and suggest control measures and perform risk assessment.
• Train workers and staff in safety (Induction and other trainings as needed).
• Participate in safety meetings.
• Participate with site safety inspections with client.
• Liaison with clients and site management.
• Check work to permit is available and monitor control measures mentioned in work permit are in place.
• Ensure good housekeeping at work location.
• Check scaffolds are inspected by scaffold inspector and bear scaffold tags.
• Inspect fire extinguishers.
• Check certificates of lifting tools, equipments, riggers and equipment operators are valid.
• Investigate incidents and prepare incident intimation and investigation reports.
• Ensure use of PPE
