- Handle complete Finance and accounts functions of Agro commodities business
- Ensure proper stock reconciliation on weekly basis
- Book all purchase and sales transactions into the accounting software on weekly basis
- Regular reviews of the weekly/monthly budget Vs Actual reports to MD/Senior Management
- To ensure financial and commercial controls at all procurement units
- Monthly Financial Analysis (including accounting and financial statements Trial Balance, Cash Flow Statement, Income Statement, & Balance Sheet) & Business Commentary
- Evaluation, monitoring and control over the overall cost of production with specific
- attention to Gross Margin, Costs and Overheads, and pricing of the products
- Meeting data needs of the Senior Management related to Agri Commodities business
- To build and/or strengthen relationships with existing & new bankers, submit data,information/projections etc to bankers, rating agencies etc; reduce the cost of Capital
- To lead the taxation function of the Company, liaise with consultants, get the assessments completed in a timely manner
- To initiate Cost reduction measures and periodic review & reporting
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register (FAR), review of Capital WIP, Capitalization of assets
- Working Capital Management To connect the capital requirements of the agri commodities business to the funds available
- Chartered Accountant with 8- 10 years experience in Trading / Processing (Manufacturing)
- Additional qualification of ICWAI is desirable
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English and spoken Hindi
