Educational Qualifications: BE or D.M.E with 3-5 years experience
Capabilities:
He should have worked as internal auditor for manufacturing establishments.
Well versed with ISO 9000 & ISO 14000 implementation procedures
At present should be working in ISO 9000 /14000 environmental industry will be added advantage.
Should have strictly followed the closure of minor and major non conformances during final audits.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review the Material Technical Data Sheet : Every material data sheet of the material to be supplied to the plant that has to be read by a quality engineer. Especially when the material is about to submit to the Engineer or Consultant, it must have to be reviewed properly because sometimes the properties of material do not comply with the requirement of the specification,then that would probably be rejected and will cause a waste of time and eventually createdelays. It might even better if QCE will prepare a comparison sheet before he finally submit the material to the plant.
Preparation of Process Mapping : A QC Engineer shall develop a process mapping method for the particular work of manufacturing processes to preserve our technology I all aspects of quality control.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields
such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording,
evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing,
measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
May specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material,
process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative application. This position will be reporting to Quality Control Manager.
