    Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering or Occupational Safety from a fully accredited and reputed University; or alternate qualification in Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent acceptable by User Organization.
    Shall be a certified member of recognized professional safety society such American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) or Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) or equivalent is desirable.
    Must be able to write safety evaluation and inspection reports to a professional standard.
    Must be knowledgeable with International Safety Codes.
     Must be knowledgeable of work permit procedures and safety procedures used in hazardous environments.
    Must be familiar with HAZCOM and HAZMAT.

    Eight (8) years experience from the date of qualifications, five (5) years of which in the development, oversight and coordination of construction, operational and/or community safety programs.

    Must have experience in occupational safety in constructionsand/or maintenance field, and be familiar with risk management and management of change procedures.
    Must have experience in the development oversight & coordination of operational safety programs.
    Must have experience in planning and scheduling.
