Job Description
Job Purpose: We are looking an experienced Sales Manager having extensive experience in acquiring new business in Australia. The person should have extensive experience in software services selling in either of BFS / Insurance / Manufacturing verticals.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1.) Should be a hard core hunter for new business acquisition (with wins from local market as his references/achievement) in BFS / Insurance or Manufacturing space within the Enterprise market in Australia / NZ, handling the complete sales lifecycle.
2.) The Manager should have good connects with prospective clients and have a strong networking in BFS/Insurance and/or manufacturing area (this is THE most important requirement for this role)
3.) Managing day-to-day relationships with clients and developing a deep understanding of their products/business and long-term business strategies
4.) Mining existing accounts for additional business through development of engagement by cross-selling the full service portfolio
5.) Work closely with delivery functions in ensuring successful execution of projects, allowing complete tracking of the engagement against business parameters set
6.) Cold Calling, existing customer base to generate new software and professional services revenue, plus maintenance renewals where customer has not renewed
7.) Manage the full corporate sales cycle - from initial unqualified enquiry, quotation, evaluation and support issues, commercials, price negotiation and closure. Increase the conversion rate of enquiries/ closed sales.
8.) Manage a personal sales pipeline of up to 20-50 software sales leads (new)
9.) Conduct prospecting and lead follow up from marketing activities as required
10.) Adhere to sales processes & methodologies and ensure accurate & timely data input in the customer & prospect database - Seibel CRM
11.) Monitor and report on all activities and forecasts and provide relevant management information
12.) Liaise with other departments in the execution & support of sales activities - Marketing, Consultancy, Support etc
Skills and Experience
1.) Significant experience on Solution and Service Sales with excellent communication skills and C level local connects in Australian market
2.) Significant experience into the SME and Mid Enterprise level market and will have an existing network of contacts to enable you to hit the ground running
3.) Excellent Communicator, with drive and ambition, result focused approach.
4.) Bachelors Degree in a Business related discipline, computer science or engineering with an MBA preferred.
5.) Minimum hunting sales experience of at least 8 - 10 years in the technology industry out of which at-least 5+ years of Australia experience.
6.) Ability to prove the Account Management capabilities in developing and retaining key accounts
7.) Outstanding track record in managing sales organizations ideally in high growth companies.
8.) Target driven, leads from the front, Good Negotiating Skills
