Head - Sales and Marketing for Golden Tulip (Nigeria)

Experience: 15 to 20 yrs.  | Salary: U.S Dollars 30,000 - 40,000 P.A

Supervise all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the company.
Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the Hotels strategic goals and also motivating his sales team 
Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
Oversees all training for personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.
Develop, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Hotel.
Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Hotels Strategic Plan. 
Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Hotel.
Establish and maintain new contracts with international corporate clients, attract new conferences from all over the country and the regions as well as initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the company.
Produced and implement yearly budget, as well as being part of the Executive Committee of the hotel. 
Work closely with the revenue manager to achieve extensive high results in revenue.
To maintain emphasis on exceeding established group rate guidelines.
To develop, maintained and implement strategies, action plans to generate revenue for the hotel. 
Stimulate productivity of all sales employees through guidance, development and support.
Develop, maintain and implement creative packages to fill identified need periods in all markets.
Design and take advantage of all advertising and public relations opportunities.
To promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows.
To assist in the achievement of overall food & beverage revenue.
To develop, maintain and implement the budgeting and forecasting process.
To ensure that all administration procedures in the department are in place and functioning effectively.
To ensure that all require reports are complete on a timely basis.
Acquire the ability to manage time effectively and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

He / She must have worked with 5* international hotel brand
Hotel School Management or / A University degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 2nd class lower, other related professional qualifications/certifications would be an added advantage
Minimum 15 years experience in a 5 star international hotel chain.
Strategically minded with Long, mid and short plan
Team spirit with strong leadership skills and knows how to motivate a team 
Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure;
Challenge - solving skills Strong communication, teamwork and negotiation skills; sales and/or marketing skills; with high creativity 
Highly Experienced in International markets, mainly Middle east , West African & Southern African Regions
