1. The HSE Team Leader manages the HSE Advisor Group (Team) to ensure the overall administration and implementation of Drilling Department Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives, programs and procedures.
2. Manages and Leads the HSE Advisor Team to the overall administration and implementation of Drilling Department Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives, programs and procedures.
3. Supports Drilling in establishing and progressing health, safety and environmental initiatives, programs and procedures.
4. Ensures that Company HSE policies, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented.
5. Facilitates the implementation of Drilling health, safety and environmental initiatives, programs and procedures
6. Fosters continuous improvement of existing safety management systems through sharing of best practices.
7. Responsible for maintaining the Drilling Operations Safety Plan.
8. Responsible for Drilling incident data collection and submission to Drilling and ZADCO Management.
9. Responsible for coordinating review and report submission for all Drilling reportable incidents.
10. Coordinates operations integrity management system.
11. Coordinates crew orientations and safety leadership training for new rig pick-ups as well as refresher training as required.
12. Conducts safety assessments at the rig site to determine the quality and effectiveness of safety management systems.
13. Advises Drilling and Completions Operations and Well Services on safety, health, and environmental related issues.
14. Assists with incident investigations and preparations of HSE alerts.
15. Develops the HSE Advisor Team manpower resourcing, training and development requirements.
16. Prepares and reviews the performance of the HSE Advisors and makes promotion and salary recommendations. Participates in career guidance, counseling and coaching. Seeks Stakeholder feedback on staff contributions and performance.
17. Coordinates HSE computing needs including: hardware; technical software; data gathering, transmission, analysis, storage and retrieval system requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
1. B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical/Metallurgy Engineering.
2. Completion of secondary education (12 years) plus computer courses.
3. Degree from Technology College including computer skills.
4. Minimum five years experience and knowledge of drilling operations.
5. Minimum three years experience in offshore operations related to drilling, completion and workover activities
6. Computing skills including MS Office.
7. Knowledge of Drilling Information Management System (DIMS).
8. Leadership training.
9. Safety training including:

Hazards Communications
Lock-out Tag-out Procedures, Permit to Work (PTW), Personal Protective Equipment
