Experience: 10 to 17 yrs.
This role is with a leading FMCG company in the Middle East. This firm specializes in the Dairy, Frozen, Chilled and Dry food item categories.
This role is a senior role and will be reporting directly to the Regional Supply Chain Head.
The candidate will be responsible for the complete Logistics and warehousing operations in Oman, which will include coordination with the two production facilities in Oman.
The responsibilities will also include:
- Inventory Management and Accuracy
- Responsible for space management
- Implementation of FIFO
- Management of Cold/Chilled storage facilities
- Negotiation with service providers
- Management of the logistics fleet
- Co ordination with authorities for clearances & permissions for smooth transport of products
- Cost Control
- Team Management
- Effective utilization of manpower
- Data Management
- Experience in a team management role; as a Supply Chain Manager/ Logistics Manager for a minimum of 5 years
- Previous Experience in Oman is desirable
- Experience in the Food or FMCG industry is mandatory
- Experience in dealing with Cold Storage facilities
- Team Management Experience is mandatory
- Good communication skills
