Marketing Manager (Myanmar)

Key Responsibilities 

Brand Marketing : 
o Formulate and execute brand marketing plans based on country / consumer insights and drive execution of marketing activities to gain market share 

Strategic Marketing : 
o Analyse and allocate the resources amongst the existing brands commensurate with product life cycle and market opportunity 
o Create & maintain marketing platforms that offers significant value to the target segments and positions the organisation as partner for better health 

Portfolio Planning: 
o Evaluate the consumer preferences and market dynamics; identify white spaces for new product introduction. Coordinate with HO portfolio/business development teams in getting the right portfolio 

New Product Launches: 
o Identify the right product opportunity, make bottoms up business cases (forecast of top line, investments and bottom line), brand marketing & advertisement plan 
o Lead end to end new product launch activity 
Team development & Mentoring 
o Lead a two member product management team, impart training to product managers and product training to medical representatives, identify and groom local sales & marketing talent 
OTC Marketing : Own (plan, sell & execute) the OTC entry/expansion plan. 
o Lead the effort of the organisation in gaining a strong foothold in OTC through ATL / BTL activities, high impact creative advertisement, channel strategy 
Live the organisations core purpose : 
o Strive and significantly advance the core purpose of organisation in the country of operations and be an organisational ambassador. 

Operating Network
Reporting to : Country manager 

Span of control : 2 brand managers at present 
Internal stakeholder 
o Country : Sales managers & sales teams, HR, Finance, Regulatory Affairs 
o Above Country : Regional Head 
External Interface with Key Opinion Leaders, Country Regulatory Authorities, Advertisement Agencies 

Experience: Well experienced marketing manager with a minimum 6-7 years experience in pharmaceutical marketing with proven track record who can demonstrate his strategic / higher order thinking skills. Exposure to OTC marketing advantageous and understanding of OTC marketing desirable. 

Education: Academic background in pharmaceuticals / medicine desirable. MBA from top tier institutes preferred

Passionate about branding / marketing 
Self starter, excellent listener & good communicator 
Curious & flexible with an ability to operate in evolving environment in the absence of data bases 
High degree of collaboration required with an innate ability to influence the team 
Cross cultural sensitivity and flexible food habits (ability & willingness to adopt to South East Asian cuisine)

Salary: U.S Dollars 30,000 - 35,000 P.A. Negotiable
