Retail Development Manager for NSIA Insurance, Nigeria

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Retail Development
Bancassurance
Agricultural Insurance
Travel Insurance
Agency Network
Micro-insurance

Supervise and closely monitor the groups activities to ensure that key performance indicators set out for each year are met.

Ensure the development of agency distribution outlets across viable economic locations within the country

Ensure the continued growth and expansion of NSIA Insurance market share within the agency distribution market space.

Supervise the recruitment, training, development and performance appraisal of Direct Sales Managers.

Supervise, manage and mentor the agency office managers to ensure that they are able to develop and run viable business offices in their respective locations. 

Ensure that all team members have and maintain a detailed knowledge of company products and services and uses such knowledge to maximize the sale of appropriate products that meets the needs of the customer 

Ensure adequate development and optimal utilization of the CRM platform to enhance overall customer experience

Ensure all customer data and transactions history is complete, current and up to date the system

Constantly maintains high level presence at social functions and events to enhance NSIA Insurance market presence.

Develops a clear succession plan for the respective roles within the Network

Develops and coordinates all strategy development plans for the continued growth of the team and the business.

Carry out any other assignment that might be delegated by the Divisional Director

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 8 years in a similar role, in an Insurance firm, with proven track record of excellence
Knowledge of both life and no-life insurance

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

We work with an Organisation called African Management Services Company (AMSCO) a part of UNDP and the potential staff would be an AMSCO manager with a diplomatic status.

2 years contract renewable only once
Salary of 4,000-7,000 dollars monthly
Furnished accommodation 
Car (Toyota Corola) and a driver
Provision of medical insurance for staff, spouse and 4 children
Relocation before and after the contract (economy ticket)
Holiday return ticket once a year (economy ticket)
