Tooling Design Engineer for Malaysia

DEPARTMENT: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT / MIS

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

To report to HOD

RESPONSIBILITIES:- 
1. Responsible in review customer gerber and drawing for DFM preparation.
2. Responsible on prepare tooling design package for prototype and mass production run.
3. Evaluate and identify correct material, process flow in design.
4. Responsible to work closely with tooling supplier on tooling development.
5. Responsible in troubleshoot and solving tooling related technical issue
6. Responsible in verification and approval of new product development tools, jigs, fixture and etc.
7. Responsible to prepare respective departmental reports.
8. Provide innovative and constructive idea for problem solving base on design criteria.
9. Any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

SKILLS REQUIRED:-
1. Graduate from NTTF will have an added advantage.
2. Creative and innovative thinking.
3. To read and understand drawings / specification / inspection criteria.
4. Knowledge of measuring equipment.
5. Must have knowledge on repair and maintain of tools.
6. Knowledge of punching process and defect criteria.
7. Good communication skill
8. Responsible and accountable to job assigned.
9. Possess team work spirit.
10. Software knowledge in CAD and CAM design software is an advantage.
11. Possess electronic background to perform better tool design.
