QA/QC Inspection Engineer for Halo Engineering Services FZE in Ajman, UAE

 Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to welding during the construction in order to ensure adherence to the company’s’ technical requirements and applicable codes 
 Provide early warning of potential quality problems and ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed.
 Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems.
 Monitoring of weld procedures (WPS, PQR) and welder qualification testing. 
 Verifying visual & dimensions, welder’s certifications, material certification and traceability for all materials and consumables being used in construction.
 Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded steel structures, pipe spools, pipelines, etc. 
 Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are on site. 
 Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and that testing equipment is calibrated.
 Monitor the effectiveness of the Contractor's material traceability process.
 Monitor the weld preparation and welding process.
 Monitor NDE and ongoing compilation of weld records.
 Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the work.
 Witness Contractor’s activities and ensure Contractor’s quality records are acceptable.
 Co-ordination with Client and Contractor QC Manager regarding Non Conformance close out.
 Review or witness in process and hold point inspection during construction in accordance with the CONTRACTOR’s ITP.
 Witness acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance 
 Issue Inspection Release after ensuring compliance to P.O. and specifications and codes.

• Good written and spoken English language skills.
• Must have working knowledge of word and excel.
• Good knowledge in industrial codes and standard.

Note: Mandatory Certification: CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI
Gulf experience is not required
Maximum Salary Offered : AED 6000/-
