HR and Compliance Officer for Mombasa, Kenya

    We have an Urgent Opening with One of The Our Major Leading Garment Manufacturing Company located in Kenya for the post of Compliance Officer.

    Compliance Officer:

    A. Job Responsibilities (Compliance) 
    Factory Compliance requirements broadly consists of the following: 

    ES (Ehtical Social) Compliance 
    Eg: Child Labor, Forced labor, Work conditions/ housekeeping, HR, Payroll, Environment Health and Safety, Fire and First Aid, etc.

    FCCA (Factory capacity, capability Audit) 
    If factory meets, quality standards, whether needle detector machines are installed, whether proper fabric and other raw materials durability tests are in place, factories have required functioning laboratories etc. 

    GSV (global security verification) 
    eg, warehouse security, factory security, ensuring no illegal movements of goods, material checking to ensure it is not hazardous, employees orientation to verify their background for safety reasons, checks on safety of cargo while loading and unloading etc.

    B. Job Challenges 
    The jobholders role demands lot of persuasion since the incumbent needs to bring a consensus on important policy matter within the top management as well as with the Head of Departments. Also jobholder would need to interact with a wide spectrum of employees; from the workers to the top management; with ease and conviction. 

    C. Qualifications & Experience/Job Skills 

    1. A minimum of 5 to 10 yrs of experience in Compliance 
    2. Fluency in English Communication 
    3. Ready to work under pressure 
    4. Expert in computer and Microsoft Office Applications.

    Job Location: Job Location: Mombasa, Kenya

    Job Salary: $2000 to $2500

    Expected date of joining: Immediate.

    Other Benefits Details: Transport and housing is provided, 7 days gratuity per year and 24 days leave pay is provided.
