- To be responsible for the effective performance management of the Area Managers, Shop Managers and other designated team members. The operations manager will be responsible for managing all the retail activities as well as ensuring end to end project handling. He will also ensure that the project is operating as per set standards and achieving the target.
Job Responsibilities
To effectively recruit, manage and develop Area supervisors, shop managers as well as the staff related to the operations handling
To set sales and profit targets and ensure their achievement as per the company standards by channelizing the efforts and skills of the team and leading them as the team head
To ensure effective internal and external communication between the head office and the outlets as well as among the team members
To set standard protocols with respect to work hours, store operations, shift schedules, customer relationship management and grievance handling
To ensure policy structure with respect to performance management of the stores, to seize market opportunities and analyze and utilize market data including the Point Of Sale system (POS)
To work with management as well as consultants for new project and shop site evaluations
Requirements
Bachelors degree in management, sales, marketing, supply chain or related field
5 years of experience in the retail sector handling operations of retail outlets
Previous experience of working in the GCC is desirable
Strong knowledge about market strategies and operations management
