Senior Planning Engineer
Responsible for providing the complete planning, budget development, schedule monitoring and cost control for the DORSCH project. (Specific to Buildings Projects)
Prepare and develop the master schedule for construction projects.
Prepare and develop the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for each project.
Follow up and monitor the project budget during the design and construction.
Perform critical path analysis and identify areas of concern.
Control and co-ordinate all activities related to project planning and reporting.
Check and review the most appropriate method and sequence of construction operations prepared by the Planning Engineer for a particular project, in conjunction with the Construction Manager.
Check and approve the specified timing of the contract.
Check and approve the appropriate techniques and sequence of events selected by the Planning Engineer for a particular project.
Produce visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams.
Monitor progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the approved schedule of work. ( Baseline)
Check and maintain the execution of the work within the budget allocated.
Check and approve the periodical reports to the client showing the projects’ status in co-ordination with the Planning Engineer and the Project Manager.
Liaise with the site Contractors throughout the process, making adjustments to programs
Regularly review planning and scheduling of work on current projects to ensure that activities are effectively planned, resourced and completed.
Maintain awareness of major client requirements for planning and scheduling services.
Monitor program of contractors submittals and deliveries and identify delays if any.
Extract four weeks work ahead and distribute to the project team for follow up.
Maintain risks and issues register.
Perform earn value analysis and cost –schedule performance index.
Establish Cost Control Baselines and relating the cost incurred with the set standards for all the projects.
Provide the updated project status and S-curves for the monthly report and update project dashboard.
11+ years experience
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Civil / Architecture, Construction Management or any other related Engineering degree from recognized university.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) will be preferred.
Project Management Consultants Exp and previous Experience in executing Hospital Projects will be an added advantage
Site Architects
Architect (Site based role) and functions will be to review and approve technical drawing submittals and coordinate with all engineering disciplines.
With 8+ years Architectural engineering experience that includes a number of years working on site on large prestigious construction projects.
•Investigate the suitability of materials and methods of construction for compliance with construction code
•Respond to questions related to construction codes, department policies and procedures
•Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards.
•Perform or supervise both minor and major maintenance and repair of structural and architectural problems
•Perform preventive maintenance and repair of structural and architectural issues.
•Establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule, and supply of materials required
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an recognized institution along with a minimum of 8+ years of related work experience. (Site Based).
