Weblogic Administrator in HCL Technologies Limited, South Africa

Job Location: South Africa

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To support, SOA (BPEL,BPM), OSB, WEBLOGIC, OHS, FORMS & REPORTS, OFSAA, EDQ, ODI, OBIEE, OIAM Suite, version 10g, 11g and 12c.

Ensuring that the Weblogic environment is available and operational on a 24x7 basis;

Routine maintenance of the Weblogic environment;

Corrective maintenance, including investigation, faultfinding and reporting;

Implementation of new software code development deployments in accordance with Wesbanks Deployment Plan; Assistance and support of Weblogic 10 & 11g & 12C;

Standby support after business hours and during weekends; Version control and upgrades

Fix pack control and upgrades/system maintenance

Installation and environmental configuration

Troubleshooting and fault finding system failures

Application Deployment.

Proactive administration tasks

Optimization and performance tuning

Building of POC environments based on Wesbanks need and require with regards to Weblogic software stack. Implementing into production Weblogic approved projects

Any other task assigned to middleware specialist

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS:

IT Diploma Preferred

Minimum of a Matric Qualification

Relevant certification or related experience

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of seven years general IT experience

Minimum of dedicated 3 years Oracle Fusion Middleware experience (SOA, OSB, WEBLOGIC, OHS, FORMS & REPORTS, OFSAA, OBIEE, OIAM Suite)

Minimum of 2 year experience in AIX, LINUX, Solaris and Windows Server 2008 (Know your way around these OS and not administration of the OS.)
