Client Interview Schedule for Senior Instrument Technician, Kuwait

    CLIENT INTERVIEW IN MUMBAI ON 9TH SEPT.

    a. Prepare Weekly and Monthly work schedules for instrument PM, in line with on-going Surveys and Machinery Overhauls, etc 

    b. He shall be able to update/ manage stock and specify materials for purchasing. He will require to cordinate all store related spare parts works between stores & site and shall be familiar with e-Beams and data entry. 

    c. Plan all the materials and spare parts required for instrument PM for the smooth execution of overhauls and survey and arrange to issue them as per requirement. 

    d. Initiate requests for spares, special tools and the like. 

    e. Plan & supervise daily work load of the Contractors personnel in his work area. 

    f. Co-ordinate preventive maintenance & overhauls/inspection programme. 

    g. Monitor & maintain preventive maintenance programme. 

    h. Maintain instrumentation maintenance & calibration records & failure reports. Prepare overall performance reports on availability & reliability. 

    i. Conversant with MMMS and Monitors Work Orders for correct entry of resources, failure and maintenance details. 

    j. Prepares scope of work & Bar Charts for instrument PM activities identifying manpower, materials & equipment. 

    k. Monitor & reports on progress of plan during overhauls/inspection & P.M. activities. 

    l. Reviews work orders and prepares weekly work plan for all instrumentation 

    m. Liaise in preparing Contract monthly report. 

    Qualifications 

    a. Have Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation /Electrical /Electronics or Higher Secondary or equivalent. 

    b. Have three (3) years experience in similar facilities to those specified within the 

    Technical Specification with minimum two (2) years in similar position for Degree Holders. 

    c. Have five (5) years experience in similar facilities to those specified within the 

    Technical Specification with minimum three (3) years in similar position for Diploma Holders. 

    d. Have seven (7) years experience in similar facilities to those specified within the Technical Specification with minimum four (4) years in similar position for Higher Secondary. 

    e. Be able to complete assigned jobs with minimum supervision. 

    f. Sound exposure to various types of field instrumentations like transmitters, switches, control valves, shutdown valves, etc. 

    g. Should be able to begin work with minimum induction period or training. 

    Communications 

    a. Be capable of group communication to direct and co-ordinate work he is responsible for. 

    b. Have the ability to prepare maintenance forms, reports, presentations and the like.
