Client Profile: 

Our client, a reputed and major overseas EPC Contracting Company are urgently looking for competent professional engineer for the following position with specific background in system design and engineering for oil and gas project in order to provide FEED engineering input for their upcoming Oil & Gas project in the Gulf. 

Senior Principal Engineer - Electrical 

Qualification: BE / ME / B.Tech / M. Tech Electrical & Electronics / Power Systems

Experience: 15+ years in FEED engineering of electrical systems for oil & gas projects viz. Refinery, process plants. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 


• Ensure Project Planning & Scheduling.
• Execute Project Delivery, Quality, Resource Utilization, Man-hour control, Productivity, Documentation Management.
• Implement Monitoring & Control.
• Review Design Calculations, Drawings and Datasheets. 
• Prepare / Endorse FEED Documents
• Interact with vendors during offer evaluation
• Vendor drawing reviews
• Participate in HAZOP/Design Reviews and close outs
• Ensure Variation Order Management.
• Contribute Problem Solving.
• Train and Mentor Junior Engineers
• Review Overall activities
• Prepare Project Close out Report

Job-specific skills required:

• Must have in depth knowledge of Basic and Detailed Engineering of Electrical Systems (Engineering Deliverables), Electrical Equipment selection
• Must have in-depth knowledge Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
• Must possess adequate knowledge on Power System Analysis & Studies (ETAP or equivalent) & Smart Plant Electrical
• Material requisitions, Bid evaluation, Purchase requisitions and approval of Vendor documents.
• Must possess basic knowledge of 3D Model Reviews 
• Man-hour Control, Quality and Problem Solving.
• Contract management, Resource management & Quality management.
• Supervising of FEED documents preparation
• Supervising of Detailed Engineering activities
• Supervising of Pre-bid Engineering
• Working Knowledge on Power System Studies software (ETAP / similar softwares)
• PMC co-ordination
• Should be conversant with: API / NFPA / Shell DEP / IEC / NEC / NEMA etc
• Provide Training to Junior Engineers
• Complete Knowledge on QMS

Salary Range:  AED 20000 - 22000
Senior Engineer - Planning (Engineering) 

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation

Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in engineering planning out of which 7-8 years in oil & gas projects. 
  
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
  

• Develop Project Specific Planning & Scheduling Procedure
• Preparation of schedule and Tracking & updating the same.
• Preparation of Progress Reports on regular intervals.
• Preparation of Project Presentations 
• Provide Look Ahead and exception Plan to team
• Preparation of Forecast schedule with mitigation plan
• Invoicing & Monitor project cost by means of Cash Flow Chart
• Review of Registers maintained by Document Controller Team.
• Organizing internal review meetings to expedite the project works. 
• Preparing and maintaining the Project Risk Register
• Develop Change order request & Extension of Time requirements.
• Providing assistance in MIS generation

Performance Indicators: 


• Scheduling & Monitoring Actual Vs. planned
• Query resolution among the internal and external stakeholders
• Progress Measurement Actual Vs. Planned

Job-specific skills required: 


• Must have knowledge of Primavera or MS Projects, Scheduling Concept, MS Office Knowledge on Procurement, Construction & Commissioning relevant activities will be an added advantage. 
• Exposure in multi-disciplinary engineering activities.




Salary Range:  AED 17000 - 19000
Senior Principal Engineer - LOSPE 

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech. Engineering in Chemical / Mechanical / Safety & Fire, PIPENET / FLARENET are minimum requirements; FLARESIM / HAZOP Pro are desirable.
  
Experience: 15+ years out of which minimum 9 years of experience in Process Safety and Loss Prevention of Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical plants.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
  

• Leading loss prevention engineers during pre-bid and detailed engineering
• Vendor document reviews
• Attending Hazid / Envid sessions
• Review of Fire Risk Analysis
• Review of Gas Dispersion and Noise Reports
• Participating in HAZOP / SIL / Design Reviews and their close outs
• Review of HSEIA including QRA 
• Review of other LOSPE related Safety Study reports
• Hydraulic Study of Fire fighting Systems
• Firming up of Design Basis
• Design of Fire Protection System
• Development of Layouts, PFDs and P&Ids
• Feed Verification reports review and closeouts

• Leading a team of Loss Prevention Engineers
• Detailed Engineering
• Proposal Engineering

LOSPE Design Concept, Design Basis Report (DBR), Front-end engineering design (FEED), Demand Water Calculation, FW Storage & Pump Design, Adequacy check, Overall FW network & PID, Fire Fighting System, Loss Prevention System, HSE Study, Man-hour Estimation and Oil & Gas sector.

Salary Range:  AED 21000 - 23000
Designer - Electrical 

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical 

Experience: 10+ years in FEED engineering design drafting in oil & gas projects. 
  
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:    
• Prepare and Check Drawings & Documents.
• Get exposure in Electrical Codes and Expertise in Layout designs.
• Train & Mentor the Junior Designers / Draftspersons
• Quality Control of all deliverables

Performance Indicators: 
• Quality (Error free deliverables)
• Timeliness (Delivery on time)
• Query Resolution (Timely response)

Job-specific skills required: 

ACAD / PDS / PDMS / SP-3D, Scheduling, Quality and Problem Solving, Drafting in CAD, Knowledge of Codes and Standards essential.

Proficiencies required in Basic & Detailed Engineering Preparation and Checking of:  


• SLD, Metering and Protection Diagrams
• Substation Room Equipment Layout
• Hazardous Area Classification Layouts
• Grounding, Lightning Protection, Cable Tray & Trench, Cable Routing, Lighting & Small Power Layouts
• Lighting Design Calculations using software (Chalmlite / Dialux / CG Lux etc)
• Extraction of MTO
• Legend
• P & ID Study
• Possess adequate knowledge on QMS

Salary Range: AED 8000 - 10000

Job Tenure: 8-9 months from start of FEED Engg. Works till completion and will be extended, if work continues.
