Experts believe that the majority of STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) jobs in the future will be directly or indirectly related to computer science. We at Study Plus are striving to introduce programs that are designed to engage young minds and enhance their critical & computational thinking and teamwork capabilities. We would like to teach computer programming to kids aged 7 to 15 through the use of simple programs, animations, games and project-based activities.
The curriculum is expected to draw from sources such as code.org, Tynker, CodeHS and various other such tools. The coding lessons would range from the drag-and-drop programming tools such as SCRATCH to the more serious use of programming for website development and the use of Python programming for data analysis. The project based activities are expected to include the use of educational computers such as Raspberry Pi/Microbit/Arduino and other simple electronics and sensors to create working projects that can be programmed

Roles & Responsibilities
We would like to hire a talented professional with a keen interest in teaching computer programming to kids. The responsibilities for this job are as below
1. Curriculum Development: This job requires creating a curriculum for all age groups as per the business needs. A key requirement of this role is to continually update and improve the curriculum and adopt the latest advancements in STEM teaching. 
2. Instructional content: This also requires drafting instructional materials and structuring them as lessons and creating or managing the development of other digital content.
3. Cross-Teacher Training
4. Supervision: The role requires the overall supervision of instructors and providing assistance on occasions of technical challenges
5. Quality Control: He/She will be responsible for the overall quality of the program by collecting feedback from students and instructors and providing guidance to instructors for monitoring the progress of the students


Job requirements: 
Passion for engaging young and older children in broader STEM learning, especially computer programming. Understanding of basic science and computer technology principles and ability to articulate them in simple terms
Bachelors Degree in science engineering mathematics or related field
Experience of teaching, tutoring computer science for at least 4 years. 
Experience with some of the programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, C++
Strong interpersonal skills
Prior experience of teaching coding to kids using tools such as SCRATCH, Mod development in Minecraft, Lego Mindstorms, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Microbit will be highly preferred, although it is not mandatory. However, the chosen candidate is expected to quickly grasp the fundamentals of these tools and be able to include that as part of the curriculum
