Lamination Operator for Ghana

 Manage/Supervise: Lamination M/C Operation (Solvent Base & Solvent Less) & Managing Shift Team Of Locals In Lamination Dept

Job Mission:

Oversee all the Lamination related activities of production shift.

Principal Responsibility:

• Lamination machine operations & managing the shift team . Ensuring quality with min waste.
• Ensure daily shift goals and metrics of the lamination jobs are met with process adherence
• Ensure lamination jobs are done to approved specifications
• Ensure quality jobs that meet given customer requirement to avoid customer complaints
• Machine cleaning and assistance in machine maintenance.
• Continuous and ongoing process implementation and improvement

Participate in training new employees n SOPs.

Other duties as assigned

Educational Qualifications:

• Technical Degree or adequate experience of lamination m/c operations.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Working process knowledge of lamination (solvent base & solventless ) for multiyear Flexible Packaging manufacturing .Operation of Slitting machine is added advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience of Lamination machine especially DRY LAMINATION.
• Knowledge of adhesives and films used in multilayer Flexible Packaging .

Key Competencies:

• Good in GMPs.
• Must have worked in ISO quality management system environment
• Excel and other Microsoft suite products are desirable.
• Good managing skills with a track record of developing individuals .
• Ability to work flexible shifts, extended hours, evenings and weekends, with little or no advance notice.

Other Requirements:

Preferred companies: PPL, Amcor, Uflex, Parikh, Montage. Exposure in African countries.
