Our client is currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef and Demi Chef de Partie to join their Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their skill set within an exclusive gastronomic establishment and develop their career further.

Sous Chef - 2 nos.
Package: - 34k (GBP)
Sous Chef Role Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Senior Team to ensure the food is delivered to the highest standard in the section of responsibility.
- Coach and develop CDPS and Commis Chefs to ensure their skills are being enhanced, leading by example
- Check the Section for standards regularly ensuring that all audits and temperature checks are completed
- Work with the Senior Chefs to help produce monthly reporting for the Kitchen
- Work closely with the Restaurant team to ensure a collaborative partnership between front and back of house
- Communicate effectively ensuring that the teams are aware of the menu
- Demonstrate high levels of planning, organising, and time management to drive the operational execution across the section
- Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, and standards (e.g., due diligence, cleanliness, and HSE)
- Monitor and maintain inventory, ensuring these are highlighted to the Senior Chefs
- Deliver feedback and coach the team on a regular basis, ensuring achievement is recognised by the senior team
- Identify training needs of your team
- Coach to drive performance and enable change
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Sous Chef in a similar 5* environment is a must.
- Excellent leadership skills to ensure smooth running of the kitchen
- Passionate about high levels of cooking and standards
- Have excellent longevity with your past employers
- Maintaining Food Safety standards
- Level 3 food hygiene
- Experience of stock control and ordering
- Computer literate in Word and Excel
- 40 hours per week

- Responsible for assisting in the preparing and cooking of the dishes on sections of the kitchen
- Follow the instructions of the Chef De Partie to be enable the smooth running of the section
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance
- Follow the law in respect of food hygiene, health and safety, the club food policy
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef De Partie in a similar 5* environment is a must.
- Experience and desire to cook different styles of cuisine
- Have a passion for cooking and possess the desire to deliver exceptional service
- Basic food hygiene skills
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
