Reporting to: Head, International Operations

Objective:  The position holder is expected to drive marketing initiatives in the Middle East region. The incumbent is expected to build market for the products, capture market share through branding, marketing & networks and achieve the desired sales targets.

Key Responsibilities & Major Activities:

Financial:
  • Responsible for sales volume, turnover/revenue, profits through trade and non trade channels. 
  • Build strong market presence through market penetration, branding and networking. 
  • Benchmark & map key business indicators (competitors analysis, market trends, price trends etc.) to formulate & implement marketing initiatives to build strong top and bottom line. 
  • Identify potential business opportunities and build a robust business pipeline.
Customer:
  • Build and leverage market strategies to build a strong customer base in international market. 
  • Networking with key stake holders and opinion leaders in the market for effective brand position is the potential customer mindspace.
  • Effective Relationship Management and building optimal service standards towards customer satisfaction.
Process: 
  • Define marketing strategy & business philosophy for international markets. 
  • Ensure all necessary SOPs are implemented and complied with. 
  • Oversee and monitor requisite controls for effective budget compliance. 
  • Effective compliance to commercial laws of the land.
Capability:
  • Consistently update self, and train the team, on market scenario, product knowledge, emerging trends and the dynamic concepts in international marketing. 
  • Build strong marketing team for overseas market.

Team:  Would manage a team of Sales Managers and the Logistics Team.

  • An MBA from one of the top Institutes, with 15-20 years of experience, having worked in a leadership role for the past 6-8 years. 
  • Must have a good topographical, trade and market knowledge of the Cement industry in Middle East. 
  • Obviously, preference would be given to candidates from the Cement/allied industries. 
  • Must have top-of-the-line Communication, presentation and inter-personal skills. 
  • Must have successfully lead teams towards attaining sales objectives in a planned manner. 
  • Must have demonstrated footprint of satisfactory performance throughout the career. 
  • Should be a leader with effective team skills.
