Our client - A LEADING COMPANY INTO OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, MODIFICATIONS AND ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN QATAR. They have opening for the below personnel for their ongoing requirement.
PLANNING ENGINEER (Shutdown)
Job Purpose:
To provide planning and system support for shutdown planning activities through close liaison with the Shutdown Planning personnel and all other shutdown stakeholders.
Expected Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Secondary school education plus a three to five year vocational credential (HNC, HND or equivalent)
Minimum 8-10 year experience as a Technical Planner and scheduler of activities associated with maintenance, production and materials in an oil/gas facility
Minimum 5 years experienced in Primavera software
Computer skills should include a working knowledge of a variety of technical planning software and maintenance management and materials software and the Microsoft office suite.
Good written and spoken English communication skills
Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance systems, performance measures and their applications.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
Adaptability to multinational environments, with exposure to various cultures and customs.
Monitoring completion of work carried out and forecasts activities during shutdowns.
Defines with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering departments any shutdown work scope.
Ability to coordinate with Operations Group, a shutdown logic showing clear sequence of various activities from Train shutdown to LNG production and/or production shutdown to start-up.
Analyse schedules, identify risks and areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
Perform quality checks on schedules and ensures that Planning & scheduling best practices are followed.
Defines maintenance activities, defining manpower and logistic requirements.
Ensures co-ordination between various divisions, sections and disciplines, to ensure that all act in harmony for smooth execution of shutdown.
Prepares comprehensive shutdown reports that may include deviation reports, critical path, progress versus baseline plans and S-Curves
Provides Primavera training where required.
